How to Measure Accurately
There are two types of measuring cups. One is designed for liquids and the other for dry ingredients. It is important to measure ingredients accurately as it will affect your recipe.

When measuring liquids, always place the cup on a flat surface to make sure it lines up properly with the correct measurement unit/line.

When measuring dry ingredients – especially flour – always pour the flour into the measuring cup. Using a flat-edged utensil, sweep off the excess, creating an even surface.
