Chili Dogs

4 hot dogs
4 hot dog buns
1 lb. ground beef
1 ½ c. favorite tomato sauce
1 small onion - chopped
½ c. shredded cheddar cheese
chili powder - to taste
cayenne pepper - to taste
salt and pepper - to taste
Optional: Mustard

Place a large frying pan over medium heat and wait until pan is warm. Add ground beef and cook until it is brown. Drain the liquid fat.

Add your favorite tomato sauce, and begin seasoning with chili powder, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 3 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Keep warm over low heat.
